The New Jersey Wildcats scored a goal in the first few minutes of the game in their home opener win over the New York Magic on Sunday, May 22, 2011 at Saint John Vianney High School in Holmdel, New Jersey.
The final score of the game was 1-3 with Magic's loan goal being scored in the final minutes of the game by forward Rashidah Sherman.
The New York Magic dominated play during the first half of the match and missed golden opportunities to put the game away during the first half--with impressive effort by forwards Toni Smith, Jasmin Corniel and Sherman.
"We played well enough not to lose this game" said Magic coach Nino DePasquali, "we just needed to finish the chances that we got"!
