In the second week of the 2012 W-League competition (May 22, 2012) two (2) New York Magic players were "recognized" by the USL W-League.  Magic’s Rashidah Sherman was one of three (3) League forwards named to the W-League Team of the Week this week (see below); and Magic goalkeeper, Caitlin Hoffer was given an Honorable Mention for her strong goalkeeping during Saturday’s match (1-1) against the New Jersey Wildcats.
